"I have been involved with the fair for most of my life. My involvement began in 4-H with bringing projects to fair and helping in the Snak Shak.
In 2005 I began helping take photos for the website. In 2007 I joined the fairboard as an auxillary board member and also became the official photographer for the Bremer County Fair.
As so, I manage a small team of photographers to make sure every event of fair is photographed and uploaded to our website within a timely manner.
I also serve on the website/social media committee, disaster readiness committee and give my input and advise to the free entertainment committee. In 2017 I took over at the Commercial Exhibits and Concessions Manager and that has been a great addition to my fair responsibilities as well.
Being a fair board member is a great experience and gives you an inside look at the fair and how hard everyone works to pull off the best fair around!"
