Also will be kids mutton busting during the show! You must sign up in advance to participate. Mutton Busting sign up will be at the fair office during the week of fair.

Mutton Busting Rules:
-Release Forms and waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian at registration/event.

-No age limit for children but MAY NOT EXCEED 55lbs. (This is for the safety of the animal)

-Contestants must wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes (no flip flops or sandals) long sleeve shirts and pants are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

-Protectective helmets will be required (for the safety of the child). There will be some on hand but suggest bringing your own bicycle or hockey style helmet. NO RACING STYLE helmets with the point in front!

-Only 1 parent allowed in arena with each contestant.

-There will be a Bremer County Fair Staff Member to assist and direct each contestant,. Listen to the staff/announcer for all instructions.

-Most of All, HAVE FUN!!!

This Event is a rain or shine event, defined as, still able to go on until the risk of HEAVY Rain, LIGHTNING, High Winds, or Severe Weather. In the event of a cancelation, NO REFUNDS and NO EXCHANGES will be given and the event will not be re-scheduled unless the fair board decides otherwise. The fair board makes every attempt possible to have these events while still keeping in mind the safety of our patrons and guests.
