Survivor & Starship featuring Mickey Thomas to ROCK FRIDAY NIGHT!

Bremer County Fair is excited to offer a jam-packed night of Classic Rock on Friday August 5th, 2011. Gate will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. concert.

Back by popular demand is the VIP section. For your ticket price of $55, you will enjoy premium stage front concert enjoyment as well as all you care to eat and drink. Your menu includes two delicious fair favorites - Bremer County Cattlemen’s Ribeye sandwiches and Bremer County Pork Producer’s pork burgers. We’ll have some beans and chips to fill up your plate and offer a variety of pop and adult beverage choices. General Admission tickets for a reasonable $25 offer bleacher seating right behind the VIP section. Don’t worry, we were listening – the sound system will be improved from last year so your concert experience will remind you of your younger days.

About the bands

Survivor logoAn American classic rock band formed in Chicago in 1977. Their most-recognized hit is the title song from their 1982 Album, “Eye of the Tiger” which many will recognize as the the theme song from the motion picture Rocky III. Throughout the 1980’s, they had hit singles like “Burning Heart”, “The Search is Over”, “High on You” and “I Can’t Hold Back”.

Mickey Thomas is celebrating his 30th anniversary with Starship. His soulful and compelling vocals have helped to propel Starship albums to Platinum or Multi-Platinum sales.
