Rabbit, Chicken, Calf, Pig Scrambles & Pie Auction

Want a lasting treasure? Purchase a pie during the scrambles and help raise money for the Bremer County Fair!  The pies will be auctioned off periodically throughout this fun-filled evening.

Each pie will be home made by queens, princesses or mayors of our fine Bremer County cites (or a chosen baker). The pie plate is a limited addition Red Wing depicting our slogan "7 Days of Fun!" and "Bremer County Fair 2011".  Definitely a heirloom that will last a lifetime!

Scramble Ages by event:

Rabbit Scrambles

• First Class - 3 and under
• 2nd Class - Age 4
• 3rd Class - Age 5

Chicken Scrambles

• First Class - Ages 5 and under if didn't get a rabbit
• 2nd Class - Age 6
• 3rd Class - Age 7
• 4th Class - Age 8
• 5th Class - Age 9

Pig Scrambles

To participate in the pig scrambles, you must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

• All entrants must pre-register in the fair office.  
• Entrants must be entering 4th through 8th grades in the coming school year
• Entrants must be a Bremer County 4-H member

** All rabbits, chickens and pigs caught in the scrambles are expected to be removed from the fairgrounds this evening.  **

Calf Scrambles

To participate in the calf scrambles, you must be entering 9th through 12th grade in the coming school year and be a Bremer County 4-H or FFA member.  Pre-registration is required.  There are expectations of the winners of this event for the coming year - please review the guidelines in the fairbook carefully (page 15).
