The Denver Area Old Tractor and Machinery Club was formed JUne 27, 2002 as a group of citizens interested in the memories of or collect old tractors, machinery, products, equipment or memorabilia.

The name of the club is PTO'S which stands for Perserving The Old Stuff. The club currently has 58 members with a invitation open to anyone wishing to join.

The purpose of the club is to bring together local area old tractors and machinery enthusiasts to share their friendship, comradeship, knowledge, expertise and collections.

Friendship Quilters of Waverly will be hosting a mini quilt Display and Silent Auction on Monday August 1st from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday August 2nd from 9:00am to 6:00 pm. This is near the Fair Board Shelter. Please limit to one caricature per person! Kira has traveled all over Iowa and into Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota drawing caricatures for events and fairs. She draws fun likenesses that will keep everyone laughing and having a good time!

We are the Johnson family from New Hartford, Iowa. We enjoy playing a variety of music as a family, including classical, Christian, and bluegrass. Our family orchestra includes violins, violas, cellos, bass, piano, banjo, mandolin and vocals.

Promenade and dosado will be on display on Tuesday, August 2nd from 7:30 - 9:30 PM as the Northeast Iowa Square Dance Association performs at the Bremer County Fair Board Building Shelter. Make plans to view this historical folk dancing performance. Les LeLone will be at the call and everyone will be sure to be entertained.

Chrome Cruiser Car Club is a non-profit club. Our car show and other special events are for the purpose of raising monies to be given to organizations/charities in our area. We currently have 35 paid members and their families. for a Show and Shine. Anyone else interested in showing his or her cars are welcome to come Show and Shine with us. Better parking and more space available!

Iowa Learning Farms presents the Conservation Station—a mobile learning center that educates audiences of all ages on different conservation aspects.

The back of the Conservation Station houses a rainfall simulator demonstrating the effects of rainfall on undisturbed soils with a variety of soil covers and impervious and porous surfaces. The front part of the Conservation Station is a learning center with interchangeable learning modules covering topics such as soil, water, and wetlands.

The Bremer Master Gardeners are hosting their annual educational display at the Bremer County Fair.  Information for folks to learn how to grow and enjoy their gardens and yards. They sponsored their first plant sale in May and do volunteer gardening projects throughout the county, plus maintain an educational garden at the Bremer Extension office in Tripoli.

CRYSTAL AXE the band has been entertaining crowds throughout the Midwest for years. They have a unique rock style that crowds love to listen and dance to. They have created a perfect blend of fun and musical entertainment.

AWESOME is a word often used to desribe CRYSTAL AXE. Some of the band members have had the opportunity to headline with some famous musicians. Musicians such as Bad Company, Edgar Winter, Cub Koda from Brownsville Station, Rare Earth, comedian/actor Tom Arnold and more.

They have performed at the Wadena Rockfest, Ragbrai, the Rock N Roll Playoffs, countless clubs throughout the Midwest, University Football Games, on Radio stations and much more.

CRYSTAL AXE is currently a three piece rock band. Bass player and vocalist is Steve Manges, Harley Sunnes is Lead Guitar player and on Drums and vocals is Brent Woodson. Their music ranges from a variety of Classic Rock to Modern Rock covers and originals.

Steve Manges, from Waterloo, Iowa is the Bass guitar player and contributes to the lead vocals for Crystal Axe. He has been involved in the music industry for years and has a background in Country and Rock music. He is also the Sound man for the band. His strong presence keeps the music flowing from the stage into the crowd.

Harley Sunnes from Maynard, Iowa is the only original member of CRYSTAL AXE> He plays a powerful Lead guitar as well as bass guitar, drums, keyboard and even does some singing. He is also the talented composer and lyricist of all the original music played. A true Rock N Roll Musician.

Brent Woodson, from Fayette, Iowa has been playing drums since he was a young child. Brent was active in school with Jazz band, Pep band, and Concert band. He came onto the Rock n' Roll scene when he was 17 with the band "Bandit". Brent has played with 'Crystal Axe' for over 17 years. His driving, alternative style of playing has brought many crowds to their feet. Currently Brent is also the drummer for the band "Mid Life Crisis"

Crystal Axe strives for a true Rock N' Roll sound using top quality equipment such as Gibson, Fender, Heath, Marshall, Pearl, Ziljian, and Sabian to name just a few. Each member of the band is very talented an versatile and have been known to double on the instruments to keep the crowds entertained.

The greatest asset of Crystal Axe is their Fans and Friends who have supported them throughout the years.

All kids going into third grade next year can participate in the sheep scramble (must be in 4-H). Those who successfully catch their sheep will be given a lamb to show at the 2012 fair.
