4-H and FFA Horse Show

4-H and FFA horse show, Monday August 1st starting at 8:00 AM. This year the location has changed to The Franzen, 1552 150th Street, Waverly. Great opportunity to see the horse kids show off their stuff!

Calling all Clover Kids and Jr. 4-H’ers (K-6th). Come participate in the Clover/Jr. Bean bag tournament at the Entertainment Pavilion! Bring a team member!

Come check out youth from other counties as they come to compete for the best Educational Presentation, Share the Fun act, or Working Exhibit. This event is taking the place of the event formerly held at Cattle Congress and will have a good mix of youth from other counties. The Best of the Best!

Make and Take

9:30 Am Fair Board Shelter—come make some fun crafts and make and takes with Extension. Learn some new tricks, work on some projects and have fun with friends!

After Sheep Show - All kids going into third grade next year can participate in the sheep scramble (must be in 4-H). Those who successfully catch their sheep will be given a lamb to show at the 2012 fair. For rules and registration, contact the Extension Office at 319 882-4275 or Sarah at shoeft@iastate.edu. Also available during the sheep show, lamb burgers! Yum!!

All exhibitors who are selected as a Champion at the Bremer County Fair have the opportunity to be a part of the Parade of Champions. Come and check out who are the Champions this year!
