Winter on Grounds

Although it doesn't look much like fair time out there right now, board members are putting in some serious volunteer hours getting the schedule lined up for the 2012 Bremer County Fair.  Lining up the fun stuff - shows, entertainers, events and bands - as well as the nuts and bolts - tents, bleachers, and insurance - to bring Bremer County a fantastic family event next summer.  January's agenda is one of our longest of the year.  Who knew?!

Board Headed to Des Moines

With cold, snow and Christmas right outside our windows, many of the members of the Bremer County Fair Association, along with their spouses, are headed to Des Moines this weekend to continue planning for one week in hot and steamy August.  The Asociation of Iowa Fairs annual Conference is December 9 - 11.  Fairs from all over the state will be sending representatives to hear key note speakers, participate in discussions relavent to 2012 fairs, meet with vendors and entertainers, and share ideas.  

Credit and Debit Cards Accepted at Grandstand Events

Credit and debit cards will be accepted at the ticket booth for the scrambles on Thursday, Survivor and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas concert on Friday and the NTPA pull on Saturday.

The ticket windows will be marked whether or not they accept credit & debit cards or are cash only.
